Pictures, music, sounds, performances, Meakusma is landing at Anima!
This popular group of artists will be taking over studio 1 for a performance created just for the Festival.
Shackleton
Shackleton excels at connecting styles: something between advanced dubstep orientated electronica that blends with house and techno. The bass lines and complex rhythms of this unclassifiable artist create a unique sound.
Robert Seidel
Robert Seidel’s work is well known on the contemporary art and new media circuit, from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp to Ars Electronica, the KunstFilmBiennale or the Ottawa Animation Festival. His films strive to push the boundaries of organic beauty and its emotional perception with visual and scientific technology. By layering different structural, spatial and temporal concepts organically he creates a slowly evolving complexity.
Yko (meakusma – BE)
Yko mainly works with recorded samples to build up an imaginary landscape of textured sounds. The abstract sound visuals in his performance are especially created for Anima.
